SICK SICK SICK

Finally i have time to blog while baby is sleeping. The past few weeks was tough. Rachel is SICK again.

She was hospitalised for Bronchities and Rota Virus. I was really pissed with her child care. Kids no doubt fall sick easily in child care but when alternate month, becomes monthly, to weekly since March this year...something is Very Wrong. Even her beloved pediatrician is alarmed and suggested we look after her ourselves as she seemed to fall sick once she's back to child care after EACH MC.

As concerned parents we withdrew our precious one from the child care. immediately. It means we forfeited June fees $675 and i now have more to do suddenly.

Teaching:
Mandarin, English, Sentences, Shapes, Colours, Counting, Singing and Dancing
Daddy is suppose to teach: Music French and Malay (hahaha)

Cooking:
Her Current Favourites:

Breakfast: Koko Krunch Corn flakes (Buy)
Lunch: Fish Soup with noodle (Cook)
Tea Time: Marks & Spencer Animal Biscuit and Milo (Buy)
Dinner: Roast Chicken Rice (Buy)

Bathing:
Now 2x daily she still screams when hair is wet. We also spend more time in bathroom playing BUBBLES

Playing
Play dough, jig saw, word puzzles, draw and water colour, stickers, etc (Mummy must play with her)

Others:
watch Barney VCD, Mr Bean cartoons, (Baby Can Read and Baby Einstein since 3 months) Can't believe it but she now has more Vcd, Cd, DVD than moi......I doubt she will break Daddy's record. (one of his friends had more than 1000 titles...GOSH)
She also loves to watch an old old movie " An American in Paris" for the dance and "Four Seasons Vivaldi" by Kennedy amongst many other piano concert vcds that daddy plays for her.

Outdoor
My favourite: Shopping.
Her favourite: Swimming Pool and Stroller along the beach, running after birds, scaring cats.

Cleaning
I am modern minimalist interior lover but Rachel's colour toys and books had invaded almost every corner our my clean white ID. Plus meal times CAN be messy, i ended up cleaning "Non Stop". The best moment is cleaning the floors again and putting the machines Dish washer and Washer/ Dryer to work while i finally had a long relaxing Shower. Ahhhhhh........

Mother hood is tough but its much better than Office Politics..

What's Next???
For the next 6 months, my goal is to Toilet Train her, get her strong and healthy and ready for Pre-nursery next year. She will learn ballet when she is feeling much much better since she interested to copy the various positions. Haha
